I shall be happy, indeed, if the following testimony will help someone who may be reaching out to find the joy and peace which come with a fuller understanding of God.
Many of my prayers have been a longing for spiritual understanding, a desire to grow better each day. And, then, into my life came problems which seemed almost too much to bear. The angel thought kept coming to me, "Why do you not find out about Christian Science?" And so I borrowed Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy from a neighbor.
Great was my joy, when I had completed the chapter on Prayer, to find that I was free from a back ailment which I had had since childhood, but far greater was my joy that at last I had found Truth. I read eagerly at every opportunity. The children and I have had healings of colds, measles, and chicken pox, to say nothing of the losing in some degree of many unlovely traits of character. Not long ago, my mother-in-law asked me what had happened to the sinus trouble which had been annoying me for thirteen years. It is gone.
