I have had so many healings...

I have had so many healings and blessings from my study of Christian Science that I desire to express my gratitude for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who was the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and who wrote the textbook, Science and Health.

My first healing occurred more than twenty years ago but I should like to tell of it because it was to me an absolute proof that Christian Science is real Science.

At that time I had read some of the textbook but knew very little about Science, though I very much wanted to know more. One day I fell with a crash on my head. For a moment I was dazed, and then I remembered that I could put into practice what I had learned of Christian Science. I managed to sit up and to repeat the spiritual interpretation of the Lord's Prayer (Science and Health, pp. 16, 17), which I had memorized. When I came to the end, it was as though a veil had been lifted, and I felt free from dizziness and pain; but my chief cause for gratitude was the utter joy and confidence I felt because I had found that Science really worked.
