Excerpts from Letters Concerning Christian Science Camp Welfare Work
[From a report given by a State Camp Welfare Committee]
One of the members of the crew in an army bomber that crashed into a house just before Christmas had attended the local Christian Science Sunday School. While training to become an army pilot, he had continued his study of Christian Science. A few minutes before the crash it became quite evident the plane could not effect a safe landing. It was expected all would perish. This young man at once turned to the one Mind. Not only was he protected, but so too were all the members of the bomber crew. Local authorities considered it a miracle.
