Each day I realize more and more how important Christian Science has become in my life. It has been my privilege to have known Christian Science since I was a very small child. My mother, in desperate need of healing, took up its study at that time and was permanently healed of tuberculosis. Since then Science has met all my needs, whether physical, financial, or business.

When I was small, numerous so-called children's diseases were quickly overcome through the application of Christian Science. One of a more serious nature, lymphatic fever, was also quickly healed with the aid of a practitioner. Several years later, acute appendicitis was completely healed without the need of an operation. My knowledge of Christian Science was a definite advantage in my school-work and came to mean even more to me when I was privileged to take an active part in the Christian Science Organization at the university which I attended.

Later on, the business position I had, became very unpleasant. I felt that I was being treated unfairly, and the only way to solve the situation seemed to be to leave. I was on the verge of doing this when it was pointed out to me that no situation was ever met by running away from it—that no matter where I was, there would be problems to solve. I realized then that I must stay right there until things were harmonious and right. This goal was achieved as the result of consistent work in Christian Science to manifest only harmony and see harmony and perfection around me, impersonalizing every so-called effect of evil, whether in myself or others. I was able to leave this position at a later date under happy circumstances.
