In a recent issue of your paper a reference was made to Christian Science treatment in cases of sickness. Many adherents of Christian Science have become such because of the failure of medical treatment to relieve them, and after their cases had been diagnosed as hopeless, incurable, or fatal. Through the intelligent application of Christian Science these persons have been healed of their diseases or physical handicaps, and their years of usefulness prolonged. This is in line with the following observation in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (Pref., p. x): "Few invalids will turn to God till all physical supports have failed, because there is so little faith in His disposition and power to heal disease."

Many reputable physicians have attested to the healing efficacy of Christian Science.
