Christian Science is not a mysterious cult nor has it anything...

Thurgauer Arbeiterzeitung,

Christian Science is not a mysterious cult nor has it anything to do with mysticism or suggestion. On the contrary, it is entirely different from mesmerism, hypnotism, and suggestion, through which one person tries to influence another and impose his will on another. In her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy writes (p. 445), "Christian Science silences human will, quiets fear with Truth and Love, and illustrates the unlabored motion of the divine energy in healing the sick." She adds, "The human will which maketh and worketh a lie, hiding the divine Principle of harmony, is destructive to health, and is the cause of disease rather than its cure."
