The practice of Christian Science brings to humanity the remedy which eases the troubled spirit of man, comforts him, and heals him of ills of every sort.

When one is confronted with circumstances where the help of matter is ineffectual, he is obliged to turn to God, and the problem becomes a means of enabling him to gain the calm certainty of Truth.

Several years ago I found myself one day in such a situation, and I asked the help of a Christian Science practitioner. Although I knew nothing of this religion, I was completely healed of a severe illness in half a day. I felt mentally renewed. From that moment on I began the study of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and I read carefully the literature. I often went to the Reading Room to seek the truth, and I found it in the measure that I sought it sincerely.
