Introductions to Lectures

New Haven, Connecticut (First Church).

Lecturer: Judge Samuel W. Greene; introduced by Mrs. Ruth H. Luther, who said:—

With a sincere desire for peace, health, and comfort, many people are praying and hoping for some divine intervention that will remedy the discordant condition with which they are confronted, and bring more harmony into their lives. A wholly satisfying solution to this and all other problems may be found in the teachings of Christian Science. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of this Science, explains clearly that the simple process whereby we may experience the desired mental and physical freedom is based on that enlightening statement in Romans, "Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." This transformation can take place within the consciousness of all who listen with an understanding heart to the truths about God and His perfect creation.
