The tragic events being enacted over wide areas of the earth, with their attendant suffering, anguish, and horror, but confirm our conviction that acceptance of the plain teachings of the Bible would restore peace and happiness in a war-torn world. Despite all that we see today of the tragedy which man's selfishness has wrought in the world, we know that the ancient truths of the Bible will prevail over all error, because they constitute the teachings of God.

Righteousness alone exalts a nation, and the great truths of the Sermon on the Mount are as potent a guide today as when they were first uttered nineteen centuries ago.
