My first physical healing, of dyspepsia, came several years ago, before I knew there were Christian Science practitioners, just through reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I can humbly say with the Psalmist, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." By claiming my oneness with God, divine Love, I have had many healings, morally, financially, and spiritually, including a healing of extreme nervousness, with the many phases it claims to have, and of many faults of character. On page 596 of Science and Health Mrs. Eddy says, "Though the way is dark in mortal sense, divine Life and Love illumine it, destroy the unrest of mortal thought, the fear of death, and the supposed reality of error."
