Turning Thought to God

God is All! This statement declares the basic fact of omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence, and, if understood, brings instant help in time of trouble. And yet how often, when the turmoil of human experience seems to engulf us, do we forget completely to turn to the one and only source of unfailing strength, health, and sure protection!

Turning thought to God by silently or audibly declaring some absolute statement of Truth requires but an instant of time, as measured by mortal sense, and need not rob us of a single moment of proper human activity; nor is it necessary to put aside any task to reach out for divine guidance and support.

An instant! Mortal mind would argue that an instant is such a tiny bit of time in which to make manifest that which delivers from danger or guides in making a right decision, yet we have abundant evidence accumulated throughout the ages to prove that God's power is immediately available to overcome any and all forms of evil.
