Each blessing I receive increases my gratitude for Christian Science. I have been interested in Science for about seven years, during which time many blessings have been received by my family and me. I should like to relate the healing that brought my family into Science.

When our daughter was born, seven years ago, an unsightly birthmark appeared on one side of her face. The leading skin specialist in this city was immediately consulted, and treatments were recommended to begin as soon as the child reached the age of three months. After several treatments, a tumor developed in the same spot. This was very alarming to us and also to the specialist. Radium treatments were then given, but with no results, after which another specialist was consulted.

Upon our being advised of the danger that might result to the baby from the continuous application of radium, a member of my family and some friends recommended that we try Christian Science. A practitioner very lovingly encouraged us. No change, however, was noticed in the child's face after several months, and we were fearful and disturbed. With the work of the practitioner, however, our fear was destroyed, and the tumor and birthmark entirely disappeared within several more months. This brought great rejoicing into our home, and I am very grateful for Christian Science and for the practitioner's faithful work.
