My heart prompts me to testify that through Christian Science I know I owe everything to God, my Father. I am grateful to know that "in him we live, and move, and have our being," and that whenever mortal mind brings me an erroneous message, I can rejoice that with God's help I can overcome the temptation to believe it real. Each temptation overcome represents progress, through which I come always a little closer to the grand goal of complete spiritual understanding.

I am also grateful that in spite of my advanced age my digestion has been restored to normal. Also, other difficulties which confronted me I have been able to overcome through divine Love. Temptation overcome brings about regeneration, which strengthens me in Christ. May God grant that the Christ may be revealed in me more and more, that I may overcome all things with Love only, and thus ever reflect God!

Christian Science treatment has helped me in the following instances. While putting up curtains I fell from the ladder and sprained my hand. It swelled badly and was very painful. I immediately declared the truth that there are no accidents in divine Mind; and in a few days all was well. Another time I severely scalded my foot. The almost unbearable pain lasted about half an hour, and there were large blisters. I immediately realized the truth, and the next morning to my great joy nothing more of the difficulty was to be seen.
