For the past twenty-four years I have been a student of Christian Science, and during that time I have experienced many healings. Some have been quick and some have been slow, but I have always been healed by depending entirely on Christian Science. I have not taken any kind of medicine nor resorted to any material means.

I became interested in Christian Science through reading the literature. A friend gave to my mother copies of the Journal and Sentinel, and I read them for about a year before I saw the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. My first healing came from reading this book. Of all the blessings that have come to me, this first healing stands out in my experience. It taught me from the beginning of my study to turn unreservedly to the truth revealed in the books for the answer to my problems.

Many times I have had help from Christian Science practitioners when problems seemed to overwhelm me, and I am profoundly grateful for these unselfish workers.
