In Psalm 107 we read: "O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy." It gives me great joy to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I began to investigate this subject in earnest in 1913. Since that time I have had many proofs of the healing and protection which follow such study.

As a young girl I suffered during the winter months from ulcerated sore throat. At one time my tonsils were removed to improve conditions, but this operation did not prove helpful, for I experienced worse attacks afterwards. These attacks disappeared after I took up the study of Christian Science. I do not recall having a severe sore throat since.

At one time a lump, which was quite noticeable, appeared on one of my eyelids, and since my work required constant reading, this condition was disturbing. However, I refused to admit its reality, and it disappeared.
