God's Hour

JENNIE BAIRD SCHOOLEY

This hour is given us to know
The changeless law of good
That rules within, above, below;
Thus Truth is understood.

This hour is given us to know
Our God's all-wise command,
Which saves from the ensnaring foe,
As we more firmly stand.

Forever armored in His might,
Encircled by His arm,
We dwell secure by day and night,
Safe from all fear and harm.
