I wish to express gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. I was healed of grief and the sense of separation when loved ones passed from my sight, and with the help of a kind practitioner was able to make all the necessary arrangements and carry on business affairs. Such a sense of peace came to me when I realized that I had not lost the loved ones and that there is no separation in Mind. I learned in going through this experience that we are all His children, and that all I need or ever shall need is God.

I should like to tell of my first healing, which took place in 1907. I had muscular rheumatism, and my knees were so stiff that I could not bend them. I also had sick headaches, which according to my parents were hereditary.

My sister came to see me when I was suffering from one of these headaches, and she offered me a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and asked me to read it. I promised her I would, and I did read it every day, and soon found I was free from the rheumatism. I had many traits of character, such as temper, resentment, and so forth, which had to be overcome, but as I corrected these, I found myself also free from headaches, although this healing took a number of years.
