"The things which God hath prepared"

All the glorious things of the kingdom of God are awaiting our recognition and acceptance. A loving Father, infinitely wise, eternally good, always just, could not fail to know His own creation as "very good." We have Scriptural authority for declaring that man was created for God's pleasure, and that it is God's good pleasure to give His children all good. God made all that exists, and He sees His entire creation as good, complete, and perfect.

Individuals unacquainted with divine realities accept as true the false testimony of material sense, and are prone to declare that there is a great scarcity of good, believing that man can suffer from lack. So convinced are they of the actuality of limitation in its myriad phases that they express fear and discouragement, and are apt to affirm that an abundance of good for more than a favored few is an impossibility.

Writing to the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul declared: "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." This declaration, made by one who was able to demonstrate the power of God to the extent of healing the sick and raising the dead, is most encouraging to all who really comprehend his words. One of the important points for all to remember is that we must love God, understanding and acknowledging His goodness, if we are to avail ourselves of His manifold blessings. Walking with God and definitely endeavoring to possess spiritual understanding, should be our daily task.
