For many years the truths of Christian Science have been helping me to meet the problems confronting me and to change many false concepts which were keeping me from knowing true happiness.

My first healing came at the harmonious birth of my first child, fourteen years ago, when I was permanently relieved of periodic pain. The same child was later healed of badly bowed legs. In both these experiences loving practitioners effectively worked, and wisely directed my thought away from the body to the perfection of spiritual man the real and only man.

In 1932, about ten days after the harmonious birth of my second child, I injured my right hand with scissors, and infection threatened my usefulness, joy, harmony. A loving relative came to take up the duties which I was unable to do, and realased me to make a much longed-for but totally unexpected nine-day stay at the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatorium on the Pacific Coast. In that blessed haven of peace, where so many loving-kindnesses were bestowed on me, I began to see my way clear before me, and my divine right to all good. In about two months lost flesh was restored, and I was able to take over my duties in the home once more. For this healing I owe gratitude to several loving practitioners and friends and those around me at the Sanatorium.
