I desire to express my gratitude for all the blessings that have come into my experience through the study and practice of Christian Science.

I am particularly grateful for protection from various minor ills. From early boyhood I seemed subject to coughs and colds and was often absent from school through sickness of some kind or other. Shortly after I left school, Christian Science was introduced to our family through a friend of my mother's and several members of the family thereafter studied the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and attended the local church. Since that time I have been free from all those old sicknesses. On a few occasions when the manifestations of colds or headaches have appeared, they have been healed, in most cases instantaneously, through the application of the truth as taught by Christian Science. For over ten years I have not been absent from my work on account of sickness.

On two occasions a sprained ankle was healed. The first time the swelling disappeared overnight; the second time the physical manifestation was present for three or four days; but in both instances the healing from pain was instantaneous.
