Man's Heritage

He whose right hand spanned the heavens,
And the earth's foundations laid,
Still in safety keeps His children,
Holy, strong, and unafraid.

Mighty are His power and wisdom.
Mighty is the Love which said,
I will give to you forever,
All the land whereon ye tread.

Through the land of understanding
Humbly walk, with feet unshod;
Fruitful is the ground, and holy,
Blessed heritage from God.

Know thyself the child of Spirit!
Lift thine eyes, and onward press
To that sweet foretaste of heaven—
Pure, unerring consciousness.

God is calling, ever calling:
Enter now the promised land!
Dwell in love, and Love will keep thee;
None can pluck thee from His hand.
