In a recent issue there appeared an article which implied that Christian Science is not Christianity. May I point out that Christian Science, as its name denotes, is an exact and definite teaching about Christ and the works and gospel of Jesus.

In the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 17), we find that her purpose was "to organize a church designed to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing."

Also, in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy states on page 340, "One infinite God, good, unifies men and nations; constitutes the brotherhood of man; ends wars; fulfils the Scripture, 'Love thy neighbor as thyself.'"

Surely such teaching and practice is in accrodance with Christianity.
