I am very grateful for all that Christian Science has done for me, and for all the healings I have had over a period of several years; also for the good health, strength, and protection it constantly gives me.

When I first came into Christian Science, I was suffering from a severe nervous breakdown, a condition diagnosed as due to pernicious anemia; as well as acute astigmatism; headaches; and periodic chills; and I required continual dosing with medicine. When I had read part way through the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I felt that my eyes were healed. I took off the glasses which I had worn for years, and threw them away, together with the pills and the other medicine which I had been in the habit of taking. I have never needed glasses since, although I had been told by an eye specialist, only a short time before, that I should always have to wear them; neither have I taken any medicine since that time, or even thought of taking it.

Through the wonderful love and help of a practitioner I was healed instantaneously of the anemia, for which I had had treatment from a doctor for over a year without receiving benefit — indeed, I had gradually been feeling worse. Through the help of practitioners, I have also had immediate healings of influenza and chills; also, many lesser healings have come through my own understanding of the truth. I am grateful to have seen several of my friends come into Science and receive their healings, after knowing what it had done for me.
