With love in my heart, I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine.

It was nearly two years ago that I first visited a practitioner, after giving up hope of receiving a physical cure through medical help. For more than a year I had been under the care of a doctor for what was diagnosed as an intestinal parasite. There was no improvement during the year; in fact, my condition was steadily growing worse.

Not until after I had been under doctors for more than a year and had spent two weeks in bed, did I decide to visit a practitioner. In talking to her the first day I told her I did not believe in Christian Science, but if she could cure me I would be a believer. She told me I could not bargain with God and neither could she humanly cure me—it would be the understanding of God and man which Christian Science gives us that would bring about harmonious results. She told me to think it over and if I decided I wanted help she would be glad to give me aid.
