When Christian Science first came into our home I was in deep despair and darkness. Our son, then two years old, had been ill since birth, and had been under the care of a baby specialist. He had grown worse, rather than better, and I was fast losing faith in doctors and medicine.

I had seen some outstanding healings through Christian Science in the home of my sister, who is a student of Science. One day, it suddenly came to me to try this Science for our son. I immediately took steps to get the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I also asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner. I began reading the textbook, and became so absorbed in it that I could not put it down. To learn that God is Love and does not send suffering upon His children was indeed a revelation to me, for I had previously feared Him.

I threw out all medicines, and relied wholly upon Christian Science. Needless to say, our son was beautifully healed. He is now a healthy young man of nineteen, and has been a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School all these years.
