Christian Science is to me indeed the Comforter.

Before knowing of Christian Science, I was in good financial circumstances, but was down and out physically and morally, and felt that I had left all joy and freedom far in the past.

In 1922, when a child of mine was very ill with St. Vitus's dance, Christian Science was offered to me. On the day I saw that she was dying I turned unreservedly to God. She made a complete recovery, and had no aftereffects or return of the illness.
