It hardly seems possible for me to express in words my gratitude for all the blessings which have come to my mother and me through Christian Science. Besides many healings and the overcoming of unlovely traits of character, I wish to mention particularly an instantaneous healing for which I am especially grateful to God. I am also grateful to a dear friend of mine, who is a Christian Science practitioner, for after I had vainly struggled with the error for several days, I was at once healed through her loving work.

Some time ago, violent inflammation appeared in one of my eyes. With my small understanding of Christian Science, I tried to realize the true being of men and the infinity of good, but the condition seemed to grow worse. After several sleepless nights the inflammation had spread to the other eye also, and I decided at last to ask a friend to do some work for me. In order to reach a neighbor's house for the purpose of telephoning to my friend, I had to feel my way along the wall of the building. The practitioner succeeded in overcoming my fearful thoughts with loving words of Truth, and on my way home I felt the effect of her work. I was able to see again, and after a short while the pain vanished. The next day no trace of the inflammation could be seen.

With a heart filled with gratitude I am writing this testimony, hoping that it may give courage in some dark hour to a brother man.
