I have received so much help and encouragement from published testimonies that I should like to add my expression of gratitude.

My first healing was experienced some years ago, before I became actively interested in Christian Science. I had suffered much distress from hay fever, and finally asked a relative, who was interested in Christian Science, for treatment. I was asked to read the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which I did, although I understood little of what I read. However, the trouble was completely overcome in less than a week, and the healing was such a clear proof that never since have I doubted the power of Christian Science to heal, when properly applied.
