Words cannot express how grateful I am for Christian Science

Words cannot express how grateful I am for Christian Science. Through its study and application our family has had many healings. One in particular has brought great comfort to me. For a number of years I was in bondage to the habit of biting my fingernails. I tried to work this problem out myself, without getting any permanent results. With the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner, the healing was completed at the end of a week. In Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read (p. 228): "The enslavement of man is not legitimate. It will cease when man enters into his heritage of freedom, his God-given dominion over the material senses." I am also grateful for having attended a Christian Science Sunday School all my life, and for having lived in a home where the ideals of Christian Science have been demonstrated.

Through the activity of Love I have always secured employment.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, for the opportunity of teaching in the Sunday school and serving on committees. These activities have helped me to enlarge my understanding of Christian Science. I am grateful for what it is doing for the whole world. In the Preface to Science and Health (p. vii) we read, "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." I have been proving this daily.
