The second year of our organization's existence has been one of increased usefulness on the campus. This has been due in no small measure to the many helpful suggestions found in "exchange letters" which have been received from the Christian Science college organizations in the United States and abroad.

Through provisions made so wisely by our beloved Leader in the Manual of The Mother Church (Art. XXIII, Sect. 8), our first lecture was made possible. In accordance with university regulations it was closed to the public. Of interest is the fact that our first lecturer was himself a Brown alumnus. The necessary expenses for the lecture were promptly met through loving contributions on the part of students, faculty, and alumni.

Attendance at our bimonthly meetings has been gratifying, and active membership has increased substantially. A poster and card committee keeps the student body informed of our regular meetings, and sends postal cards to the undergraduate Christian Scientists before each meeting. Increased attendance made a further supply of Hymnals necessary. This need was met early in the second semester.
