It is with sincere gratitude for the many blessings that have come to my wife and me through Christian Science that I give this testimony.

May I say at the outset that when this truth is seriously and correctly applied, the outcome is always sure. As a result of such application, problems of many kinds, including those of sickness and lack, have always been promptly solved. Included in these problems have been colds, neuralgia, corns, burns, influenza, measles, chicken pox which was instantaneously healed, and scarlet fever, which was of longer duration and was healed through the help of a practitioner. Through the study of our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I was healed of lumbago and a catarrhal condition of the nose which had been troublesome since boyhood.

In "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 307), Mrs. Eddy writes, "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies." The truth of these words was beautifully proved some years ago. I had acquired ownership of a lovely suburban home. After two and a half years of our joyful, happy living in this home, a lack of funds presented the erroneous thought that the next semiannual payment, which was large, could not be met. Speaking to a practitioner about this problem, I was asked when the payment was due. I informed her that it was due in just one week. Her reply was very encouraging, and removed fear almost entirely. She said, "That is ample time, for God works instantaneously." The night before the payment was due there were still no funds in sight, but realizing God's care for His children, His omnipresence and omnipotence, I knew that the all-knowing Mind would reveal the solution.
