A specialist had told me that I should lose the sight of one eye entirely and always have to wear a heavy glass for the other; and for over two years I was scarcely able to read the headlines and smaller print of the newspapers. Then I began to attend Christian Science church services and also consulted a practitioner. I was completely healed in two weeks' time.

Many other blessings have come to me. I was healed of the fear of tuberculosis, after members of my family refused to sleep in the same room with me. Just by reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I was healed of hereditary kidney trouble and many minor ailments. I have always been protected and helped to progress.

I am grateful for the wisdom of our Leader in establishing The Mother Church and protecting her organization so that the truth cannot be adulterated; and for her marvelous courage in facing a world of materialism and mastering all difficulties. I am grateful also for The Christian Science Board of Directors, the lecturers, the Publishing House, and all the church activities. I am glad to be a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church; grateful for class instruction, and for the privilege of serving as a Reader. The growth which has resulted is now helping me to be of service to my fellow men.
