It is with a heart filled with gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me and my family during the past ten years through the study and application of Christian Science, that I give this testimony.

About three years ago I was suddenly taken ill with a very severe pain just after returning from lunch to my place of business. At first I thought little of it. Within a few moments I became so violently ill I had to leave the room and lie down. I soon began to lose consciousness. My business associate, who was a Christian Scientist, called a practitioner, and within an hour I was taken home, and was able to be back in my rightful place in three days.

After this experience there was a constant fear that the condition might return, and some months later it did return in a much more severe form. This time it did not seem possible to frightened mortal sense that I could live through such torture. A practitioner was called immediately, and through her loving work I was healed, and at the same time came the healing of fear. Since this experience I have enjoyed a sense of peace and freedom such as I had not had for many months. I cannot express in words the gratitude I feel for this healing.
