It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. During the so-called depression, it was beautifully proved to me that supply is infinite, not dependent upon material conditions or possessions.

Another demonstration which gave me a fuller understanding of man's relationship to God, was the healing of a boil on my cheek. For a few days I had been applying the truth as we are taught in Christian Science, but the outward condition did not yield, although I experienced no pain whatsoever. The company for which I work requires all employees to have medical attention. Due to the ugly appearance of the boil one of my fellow employees advised me to go to the medical department, stating that otherwise she feared something might happen. I lovingly told her I was applying my understanding of Christian Science. Realizing that God is the only Physician, I denied all suggestions to the contrary, and I was not required to go to the medical department. During the week I attended a lecture on Christian Science in which the lecturer clearly brought out that we must be more firm in our declarations of the truth. The next morning, while at work, I endeavored to do this, and within less than an hour the boil broke. Again I was reminded that "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, . . . and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; also to our Leader, and to all loyal Christian Scientists.
