Among the many blessings I have received since becoming...
Among the many blessings I have received since becoming a student of Christian Science, there is one in particular for which I should like to express great thankfulness. For many years of my life I suffered from small cysts that used to appear on my head; and from time to time I had them cut out by a surgeon. Though they caused no suffering or inconvenience, still I felt this condition to be an inharmonious one, and I knew I ought to meet it in Science. I worked then to know that there is no false material growth, but only true spiritual growth, and that "every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up."
One night I felt much irritation of my scalp where there was a cyst, and as I rubbed it, suddenly the place opened and the cyst came out. I could distinctly feel a little hole where it had been lodged, and I remember going off to sleep with a deep feeling of thankfulness. In the morning there was no cyst, no hole, no mark of any sort.
That was over three years ago, and there has been no return of this difficulty.
