Words are not sufficient to express my appreciation of what Christian Science has done for me and mine.
About ten years ago I was situated where there was no Christian Scientist near by to help; but proof after proof of God's omnipresent love and power was shown me; I also saw God's unerring guidance proved in many ways. There have been healings of blood poisoning (septic infection), sprue, influenza, severe headaches, bilious attacks, eczema, pneumonia, broken bones, results of accidents, knee trouble, choking, and many other difficulties.
There was a time when I was alone and in great need of a friendly hand. A Christian Scientist had come to our little hill station from England and, when writing to a Reading Room for the Christian Science Quarterly, she asked if there was anyone else in that place interested. My name was given to her, and from that time, over and over again, I have proved the words of Jesus, "I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you." With great patience and love she has shared the ideas she has received from our heavenly Father, the one Mind, and has proved what real friendship is.
