Rand Daily Mail
Through years of insult, misrepresentation, and vituperation, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, remained calm and unruffled in the consciousness of the truth which she had discovered and in her faith in the general acceptance of her discovery.
Today she is placed among those who have most profoundly influenced the thought of the world for good, while her followers, in ever-increasing numbers, demonstrate the truth of Christian Science by their works and their lives. It therefore seems anomalous that a correspondent in his letter in a recent Rand Daily Mail should repeat stock allegations in respect to Mrs. Eddy, Christian Science, and Christian Scientists which have been refuted over and over again in speech, writing, and even in the law courts.
