In writing this testimony I sincerely desire to give...
In writing this testimony I sincerely desire to give Christian Science the entire credit for the many blessings that have come into my experience since I started to study the textbook. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The persistent daily study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly led me to read all of Mrs. Eddy's other writings, and they, in turn, gave me inspiration and the desire for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church.
After those blessings came the blessed privilege of class instruction by one who was a student of our Leader. I cannot put into words what class instruction did for me or what it has meant to me; I can only say that I am more grateful for it than words can express. As we are obedient to the least as well as to the greatest rule of this Science, we are able to prove that it is indeed the truth. But there is no halfway position. Right here I should like to express my unbounded gratitude to Mrs. Eddy who was so unselfish that she had the courage and inspiration to expose the false beliefs of materiality and give Christian Science to the world.
Only by turning completely away from the testimony of the material senses, no matter what they seemed to say, and relying entirely on God and His laws of perfection have I been able to experience healings of colds, tonsillitis, and inharmonious conditions in my home. I have been helped in business and financial difficulties in such a way that even my friends who were not interested in Christian Science marveled at the blessings.
