The Harvest Is Abundant

The harvest is abundant
For those who wisely sow
The seeds of loving-kindness,
And guard them while they grow;
Who weed out thoughts of error.
All selfishness and sin,
And let the purifying light
Of Truth and Love shine in!

The harvest is abundant
For those who daily pray
That they may learn to walk within
The straight and narrow way;
For those who, upward striving,
Remember God's command
And help some erring brother
To love—and understand!

The harvest is abundant,
And therefore we rejoice;
We thank Thee, Father-Mother God,
That Truth has been our choice.
The morning light is dawning,
And those who wisely sowed
With joy lift up their voices,
For good has been bestowed!
