When all material remedies failed, I turned more earnestly to the study of the Bible, and pondered deeply the teachings and demonstrations of Jesus, who declared that the works which he did, his followers should do also. I believed that this declaration applied to all people in all ages. I believed in divine healing, but did not understand its Principle, and prayed earnestly for light.
