God's Law is Universal

How prone is the human mind to limit infinite Truth, and to believe that only great scholars may understand the mysteries of God's creation!

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden," were the words of our Master, who taught the loving disciples who had left all to follow him, healed the sick and suffering, and the beggars by the wayside, blessed little children, and instructed all who were eager to hear him, and whose hearts were ready for his message. The five thousand that followed him into the desert were presumably from all walks of life, of varying degrees of intelligence, and he fed them all. Knowing the divine law of substance and supply, he provided the correct and satisfying answer to their immediate need for food.

Through the teachings of Christian Science we learn to prove that God's law is universal, and available for all to demonstrate. Jesus claimed his God-given ability to utilize this law, through which was made manifest an abundance for all. To the disciples in the desert place, the human evidence of supply was limited to five loaves and two fishes; but to Christ Jesus supply was spiritual, therefore unlimited by any false testimony of the senses. Silencing the mortal mind lie of limitation, voiced by the disciples, he commanded the multitude to sit down. Then he took the loaves and fishes, "and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake," and fed them all, with plenty to spare.
