An Experience
The writer was working for herself one evening to meet a condition in which a piece of matter seemed to be needed, but she thought: "God does not work through matter. He works through spiritual law." Instantly the demonstration was made.
After this instantaneous healing through the recognition of God and His spiritual law, the student was so filled with gratitude that she wanted to know what really had happened—what had taken place. This prayer of sacred desire was answered, for there came to her consciousness, without effort on her part, the following thoughts:
God's law in operation means the expression of all that God is. Law is power in operation. God being omnipresent, the divine power is omnipresent, is always operative, and expresses the nature and essence of God. God is infinitely and eternally good; so the effect of divine law must be infinitely and eternally good. The eternal light of Truth dispels the darkness of belief. Divine law cannot be limited in intelligence, presence, activity, or effect. God being All, and His law the only law, there is no opposite—no mortal mind, sin, sickness, or death.
