I came into Christian Science for a physical healing, and am grateful to say that I not only received the healing, but at the same time began to understand something of the religion of Christ Jesus.

For a number of years the question of religion had troubled me, and I wondered if it would ever be made clear. Previous to the time that Christian Science was presented to me I had been working in a children's hospital, and a growth which appeared on my foot was causing much discomfort. I had been to a number of physicians and chiropodists, but none of them could help me.

It was then that an aunt presented Christian Science to me and asked if I would like to read the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly with her. She did not know of the condition of my foot, but later, when told of it, said that I could be healed. My foot was healed in almost a week by my reading the Lesson-Sermons.

Although my progress in Christian Science was not rapid, I continued to study until the light dawned on my consciousness, and I knew that I had found that for which I had been seeking—the Christ-religion or the religion of Love.

I am very grateful for membership in The Mother Church, for the privilege of serving in a branch church, and for class instruction. I praise God for having chosen Mary Baker Eddy to reveal this Principle to the world; and my prayer is that I may truly live in accordance with Principle, which blesses all mankind.
