I first became aware of Christian Science when I was eighteen.
From the time I was confirmed in a Protestant church and for many years afterward I never attended church services.
In 1921, at a time of mental and physical need, I was told about Christian Science and advised to visit a local Reading Room to borrow Science and Health by Mrs.
