I did not know anything about Christian Science until my husband bought the book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. At that time I was mentally and physically sick, and all good seemed lacking.

One of my physical healings, of which I have had many, was of cyst of the jaw bone. This was so diagnosed by the physician after an X ray was taken. This healing seems to stand out as more important than others because it required a great deal of patience and study. Thanks to the help of a Christian Science practitioner, within a year and a half I was entirely healed. This was seventeen years ago, and the condition has never returned, showing that when Truth heals it is permanent. I have been instantaneously healed of a severe cough, a corn, and canker sores.

I am grateful for our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, who established health and harmony as the reality of man. I appreciate my fellow co-workers, also the periodicals, the church services, and the Christian Science Quarterly. Can anyone doubt our love for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave her unselfish love for suffering humanity? May I always keep in mind our Leader's ideal, "Love for God and man" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 454).
