Lecturer: Francis Lyster Jandron; introduced by Wilhelm Hennies, who said:—

Christian Science explains the Bible in such a way that God becomes to us a living reality. Mrs. Eddy teaches us in her textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," that "the corporeal senses can take no cognizance of spiritual reality and immortality" (p. 438). Rather, as we read in another passage, "through spiritual sense only, man comprehends and loves Deity," for "sight, hearing, all the spiritual senses of man, are eternal" (pp. 481, 486).
