Prompted by deep gratitude, I should like to testify to a wonderful healing which I received through Christian Science.

Some time ago I suffered from severe pains in my back and went to see a physician, for a requirement of my employment was participation in a sick fund, and I had to submit to medical examination. The doctor examined me and stated that according to his material view of the human organism I suffered from internal adhesions and misplacements. The only means of help would be an operation.

Naturally I was quite overwhelmed when this verdict was returned to me. However, I had known of Christian Science for many years, having attended the Sunday school up to the age of twenty. So in this moment my first thought was that God alone could help me. I turned immediately to a practitioner and asked for help. The whole time I held fast to the perfection of God's idea.
