So many blessings have come to me through the study...
So many blessings have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science that I want to share them with others. This Science was first presented to me by one whom I had not seen for years but had loved much as a child. When I was told the true meaning of the sacrament, as understood in Christian Science, I wanted to know more about it. My first healing came to me through reading at random in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I was permanently healed of neuralgic headaches, from which I had suffered for many years.
About four years ago I was taken home from my work in an office, apparently helpless from partial paralysis. Through the help of a practitioner I was healed. Later the fear that this condition might return was so strong that I asked for further help, and the healing has been permanent.
Some time ago, during my lunch hour, I fractured a rib. Although the pain was intense at first, my thought turned to divine Mind, and I declared that there is no life in matter, that there can be no break in the harmony of God's kingdom, and that man as God's reflection cannot be injured; that "all is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all" (Science and Health. p. 468), and I returned to my work. I continued each day with my work, which consisted partly of handling heavy books and using heavy files. The healing was slow, but I am grateful for the spiritual understanding gained during that time, and for the many lessons learned.
