Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Wisconsin.

We are very grateful for the friendly relations existing between this office and the newspaper editors throughout the state. During the year the number of editors accepting and publishing our Lesson-Sermon excerpts has been increased to forty. In addition to the regular weekly Lesson-Sermon excerpts and the monthly religious articles, a large number of editors have published special articles. Thanksgiving Day Lesson-Sermon excerpts were published in eighty papers, and at Christmas time one hundred and twenty-five papers carried an article entitled "The Meaning of Christmas," taken from the Christian Science Sentinel and offered to the papers through this office. An editorial from The Christian Science Monitor, also supplied by this office, appeared in approximately seventy newspapers. A great many editors voluntarily use reprints from the Monitor, six hundred and fifty-four clippings of which have been received.
