A sincere desire to express my gratitude and help others as I have been helped prompts me to send this testimony. I have had many healings through Christian Science, as have other members of my family. My first healing was of a diseased bone in my foot with which I had been bothered since childhood. After having two operations, and being told that nothing more could be done, I turned to Christian Science. Three weeks' treatment by a practitioner changed my thinking so that I had no further trouble.

Since that time I have had many other healings of colds, grippe, skin eruptions, and a lung condition; I have experi enced two harmonious childbirths, a change in disposition and character, and gained a more spiritual concept of true substance. At the birth of our second child I seemed completely lifted above material surroundings. After the practitioner was called I was so filled with a sense of gratitude for all good that material occurrences seemed a dream, as they really are. This uplifting sense of gratitude remained with me, and the whole experience has been an inspiration.

The help Christian Science has given me in caring for and teaching our children has been wonderful. To know that they are not our children, but God's, has helped to remove fear. To see how readily a little child accepts and applies the truth has given me greater humility and a desire to become more childlike.
